Microsoft 365 - Outlook - Opening Shared (Class) Calendars

Outlook for Desktop
Open the Outlook for Desktop app
Click the
Calendar menu icon
in the left navigation bar.
Click on the
Home tab
in the ribbon at the top of Outlook.
Click on the
Add Calendar
(green plus) icon in the Home ribbon.
Select
Add Calendar
then select
From Address Book
In the search bar,
type
the name of the calendar in question and hit Enter
Double-click on the calendar result
and ensure it is showing at the bottom of the window.
If so, click
OK
.
You will find the calendar added within your Calendar menu under Shared Calendars.
Ensure the calendar you added is checked
to see the calendar events.
Outlook for Mobile
Open the Outlook mobile app and select the Calendar icon on bottom of app.
Select
Calendar

icon
in top-left of app
In the pop out window, select the
Add Calendar
icon
Select
Add Shared Calendars
In the search bar,
type
the name of the calendar and
then tap the + (plus) icon
next to the calendar you searched for.
You will find the calendar on your Calendar menu under Shared Calendars.
Ensure the calendar is checked
to see the calendar events.
iOS Mail App
Log into
Outlook Web Access
via your web browser at
https://outlook.office.com/
In the left navigation bar, click on the
Calendar icon
to switch to your calendars.
Check to see if the calendar that you would like to add to your iPhone/iPad is listed in the left pane. If it is there, check whether the circle to its left is filled with a checkmark. If it isn’t check, select the circle. If it is already checked, select it to remove the checkmark and then select it again to add it back.
If the shared calendar was not already listed in the left pane, click
Add calendar
>
Add from directory.
Search for the calendar and click
Add
.
Check your iPhone/iPad’s Calendar app. It may take a few minutes to sync. While waiting, click
Calendars
in the app and look for the shared calendar. Click it if there is not a checkmark to its left. If you are not seeing the data after 30 minutes, try the process again starting with step one.
