Media Equipment Checkout/Loaning

What Is It?

Requesting IT media equipment (i.e. camera, microphone, etc.) is a service provided by the NEOMED IT Department. 

Who Can Use It?

NEOMED Faculty and Staff

Where Can I Get a Loaner?

Equipment approved to be loaned can be picked up at the NEOMED Help Desk within the Library, after you have received notice that it is ready for pickup.  You will be asked to provide proof of identification upon pickup.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no charge for this service.

How Long Can I Use It?

These devices will be loaned out for the time period requested, contingent on approval.  Should the period near expiration, please reach out the to the Help Desk by stopping by the Help Desk or calling 330-325-6911 to provide a reason for the extension.

Policies and Acknowledgements

I understand by submitting this service request and checking out University media equipment:

  • I will not alter it in any physical way.
  • The equipment is being loaned for lawful purposes only and will not be used for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • I will not lend or sublease this equipment to anyone else without prior written consent of IT.
  • I am responsible (through my department if employee) for paying for any repairs or damages that occur to the equipment while I have it checked out. 
  • If the equipment gets lost (or stolen) during the period I have it checked out, I am responsible (through my department, if employee) for paying the replacement price of the device(s).
  • Once I return the equipment back in, if computer, my data will no longer be recoverable on the device.
