Guidance for Accessory Setup Requests

To ensure timely and accurate support for accessory setup (e.g., webcams, headsets, docking stations, monitors), please follow these steps when submitting a request:

Before You Submit

  1. Confirm Compatibility

    • Check if the accessory is approved for use within our environment. Standard accessories are known to be supported; however, custom accessories may not be supported.
    • Verify that your NEOMED issued device meets the accessory’s requirements.
  2. Gather Key Details
    Include the following in your service request:

    • Accessory Name & Model (e.g., Logitech C920 Webcam)
    • NEOMED Device System Name (Windows - found under Start Menu > System Information; Mac, please provide Serial Number)
    • Connection Type (USB, Bluetooth, HDMI, etc.)

Submitting Your Request

  • Select Submit a Service Request on this page.
  • Provide:
    • Your location.
    • Any error messages or issues encountered.
    • Accessory Name & Model (e.g., Logitech C920 Webcam)
    • NEOMED Device System Name (Windows - found under Start Menu > System Information; Mac, please provide Serial Number)
    • Connection Type (USB, Bluetooth, HDMI, etc.)

After Submission

  • Keep the accessory and your device accessible for troubleshooting.
  • Respond promptly to any follow-up questions from IT.

Important Notes

  • Unauthorized accessories may not be supported.
  • Some setups may require admin rights or scheduled assistance.
