Overview
There are two network cables that connect to an office phone. One from the wall to the phone and then another from the phone to the PC docking station. This article reviews how to reconnect an office phone if a phone is disconnected or is moved from one office to another.
Steps

- Identify the network port located on a wall within the office. This will usually already have an Ethernet/network cable plugged into it.
- First network cable: Connect the network (Ethernet) cable from the office wall network port to the office phone’s Network Port (pictured above).
- Second network cable: Connect the network (Ethernet) cable from the office phone’s Access Port (pictured above) to the Dell docking station’s single network port (pictured below).

The phone should light up and begin the setup process. It should be fully operational within 2 minutes.
Troubleshooting
If the phone does not power on or start setup, verify that:
- Both network cables are connected in the correct order.
- Each cable is plugged into the correct port on the phone.
