Overview
Uploading files to OneDrive is a straightforward process that allows you to back up, share, and access your files from virtually any device. The following is a step-by-step guide on how to do it from different devices.
Uploading Files & Folders
Web Browser
- Go to https://microsoft365.com and then click Sign In.
- If prompted, sign in with your NEOMED account.
- On the left-hand of the screen, select OneDrive.
- Within OneDrive, you can navigate to your NEOMED OneDrive files (by selecting My Files) or selecting a Group/Team to upload to.
- Once you navigated to the preferred location, click the + Create or Upload button, then depending on your need, choose Files upload or Folder upload.
- Browse your computer to find the files or folders you want to upload, select them, and select Open or Upload.
Sharing Files & Folders
- Once you’ve uploaded a file/folder, you’ll receive a confirmation message at the bottom of the page in which you’ll be able to see the name of the file and a link to the location in which it was saved.
- To find all the files uploaded to your OneDrive, click on the My Files icon be sure to edit the permissions to People in Northeast Ohio Medical University or Specific People.
- Once the permissions are set you can copy the link and share it.
