Overview
Faculty and staff need to register as an instructor to enable access to the downloads for installation of the Desktop application. You may need an admin for the initial installation and some updates. Your role will allow you to change to participant as needed in Point Solutions. Students using the mobile application can log into PointSolutions in a browser to register and manage their devices and check their subscriptions. Subscriptions are renewed every year in June - no need to panic if your subscription is telling you that it is expiring during the summer.
Downloading and Installing Point Solutions
You can download the PointSolutions Desktop application without needing to log in or create an account first.
- Navigate to the PointSolutions Desktop downloads page.
- Click Download on the correct PointSolutions option for your operating system.
- The PointSolutions installer file downloads to your computer's Downloads folder.
PointSolutions (Mac) - This version requires installation onto the local computer and may require administrator rights to complete.
PointSolutions (PC) No Install - This version is downloaded as a Zip file that can be placed in any location, such as your desktop, a folder, or on a flash drive. The folder must be unzipped and you access the software by double-clicking the PointSolutions executable file in the folder.
PointSolutions (PC) - This version requires installation onto the local computer and may require administrator rights to complete.
