Mobile printing via the PrinterOn mobile app: One-time setup

Mobile printing allows you to print from on or off campus from any device (phone, tablet, laptop, MAC, …) without having to install Equitrac.

Note: Finishing options are limited to basic options such as # of copies, color/not and single or double sided. Printing multiple pages per sheet can be accomplished if you have the ability to format your document that way prior to sending it to the printer.

To set up the PrinterOn mobile app:

Download and install the app called PrinterOn.

Open the app and tap on Settings to set up your username/password.

Tap on User Accounts

Tap the + to add a new account.

Enter the Account and Password.

Account is your username (e-mail without

Password is:

Students: your printing/Office 365 password - if you've already changed the default password, then use the password you've chosen, otherwise the default is: nmmddyyyy! (where mmddyyyy is your birthdate - be sure to also include the n and ! at the beginning and end)

Staff: your Windows password


Slide to set this as the default user for PrinterOn Hosted and

Tap on the checkmark                  

Tap the Left Arrow                 to return to the Settings screen.

Tap the                 to close the Settings screen and return to the home screen.

Tap on the QR symbol               on the lower right of the screen.

Scan the QR code below to set up the Follow-You printer. You may need to move your phone farther away from the symbol in order for it to be read.

You should see the following prompt:

Tap on Yes.

You should see the following screen:

Tap to select your username. You may see the prompt below:

Tap Yes to continue.

Tap the Left Arrow                 to return to the Scan code screen, then tap the                 to return to the home screen.

Tap on No Printer Selected at the bottom.

From the Select Printer screen, tap on the Enterprise option.

Tap to select:
