This article provides step-by-step instructions on signing in with your NEOMED account using a passkey stored on your mobile device. This device could be an Apple iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

NOTE: You must already have a passkey stored on your device. If you have not done so already, follow the instructions in the following KB articles based on your device type:

• MFA: Enroll a Passkey With My iPhone or iPad (synced to Apple iCloud Passwords App)
• MFA: Enroll a Passkey With My Android Phone or Tablet (synced to Google Passwords)
• MFA: Enroll a Passkey With Microsoft Authenticator App (iOS or Android)

Steps to Sign In

1. Visit the NEOMED application/website you need to sign into with your NEOMED account.
2. When prompted, enter your NEOMED email address and select Next (or press the ENTER key on your keyboard)
3. A window will appear. Select iPhone, iPad, or Android device

4. A QR code will be displayed on your computer screen.
5. You will need to open the Camera app on your iPhone/iPad/Android device that your passkey is configured on. 
6. Center the QR code in your Camera app.
7. When prompted, select Sign in with a passkey

8. Ensure the passkey displayed is associated with your NEOMED Account (i.e. jdoe123@neomed.edu). If not, select a different passkey that aligns with your NEOMED account.
9. Select Use Passkey
10. Complete the requested biometric response (Face ID, Touch ID, or PIN) when prompted by your device. This is the same method you use to unlock the device.

You should now be signed into the website or application.
