Installing the Zoom for Outlook Add-in

The Zoom for Outlook add-in(s) allows you to manage scheduling within the Outlook web and desktop apps and to add a Zoom meeting to a new or existing Outlook calendar event. 

Considerations Before Installing

• For further integration with Office 365, set up contacts and calendar integration.
• If you receive an error when installing that says you are prohibited or do not have the correct permissions, you will need to contact your IT admin for assistance. 
• The Zoom desktop app and the Outlook app must match each other in terms of architecture, meaning that the 64-bit version of the Outlook app must be installed alongside the 64-bit version of the Zoom desktop app. 

Installing the Add-in

Windows

1. Open Outlook for Desktop and make sure you are signed into your NEOMED account.
2. In the upper-left corner, click the File tab.
3. In the navigation menu, click Info then scroll down and click Manage Add-ins. Outlook will open a browser to manage your add-ins. If prompted, sign in to your account.
4. In the Add-Ins for Outlook window that appears, select the Admin-managed tab.
5. Click on Zoom for Outlook Extension and then click Add. 

Mac

1. Open Outlook for Desktop and sign in to your account.
2. Switch to Mail view, click the ellipsis button , and then select Get Add-ins. Outlook will open a browser to manage your add-ins.
3. In the Add-Ins for Outlook window that appears, select the Admin-managed tab.
4. Click on Zoom for Outlook Extension and then click Add. 

Web

1. Open Outlook for the Web and make sure you are signed into your NEOMED account.
2. In the left navigation menu, click on the More Apps icon 

3. In the window that appears, click Add Apps
4. ​​​​​​​In the window that appears, search for Zoom for Outlook Extension. When it is found, select Zoom for Outlook Extenion.​​​​​​​
5. Click Add. (If the button is labeled "Open", you already have the extension installed)

Mobile

1. Open the Outlook app on your Android or iOS mobile device. 
2. Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner. 
3. Tap the settings icon  at the bottom of the panel. 
4. Swipe down and tap the Add-ins option.
5. Swipe down to find Zoom and then tap the + button to add it.
