In the top right corner you'll see how much space you're using.

How do I recover a file that I deleted in OneDrive for Business?

OneDrive for Business contains a Recycle Bin similar to the recycle bin on your computer. Click the Recycle bin link on the left navigation bar to open and recover files. There is also a link at the bottom of the Recycle bin page to open a Second-stage recycle bin.

NOTE: Items deleted from OneDrive for Business remain in the Recycle Bin for 90 days (or until they are manually deleted) and then get moved to the second-stage recycle bin for another 90 days. After that, the files are not recoverable.

Yes. When you open a shared document in OneDrive, you will see a color-coded flag and the name of a person if someone else is editing that document.

What other help can I get for OneDrive for Business?

Microsoft's help is available by clicking the Question Mark icon (?) in the upper-right corner of the browser window.

What is Syncing?

Syncing allows you to have copies of files and folders on both your local computer and in OneDrive – and allows you to edit in either location and will keep them synchronized. It is useful if you need the capability to work on documents offline (not connected to the internet and logged into OneDrive).

The capability to open a document from OneDrive and edit it in Word on your machine is NOT syncing and is the standard functionality of OneDrive. Once you click Save and close Word, the file is saved back in its original OneDrive location.

**At this time, NEOMED IT is not able to support OneDrive syncing.

How do I Know if Syncing is Enabled?

If syncing is enabled on your computer, you will see a OneDrive folder within your Windows File Explorer. You should also see a OneDrive icon in your task bar on the lower right corner of your screen.
