Self Service Password Reset/Change/Unlock

**Notes**

  • It may take up to 10 minutes for a password change to propagate through all of the systems. Please wait for approximately 10 minutes before trying your new password.
  • If you are changing your password, don't forget to update your password on your mobile device(s) as well - otherwise your account will get locked out.

 

Before you can use the self service password reset, you must enroll:

Enroll

1. Go to: https://reset.neomed.edu

2. Under ‘Sign in’ enter your network credentials and click ‘Login’.

**Students: Use your printing/Office 365 credentials

  • Your NEOMED email address - username@neomed.edu
  • If you have changed your default password, then use the password you've chosen and are using for email, otherwise the default password is: nmmddyyyy! where mmddyyyy is your birthday - be sure to include the n and ! (otherwise use your current password)

 

3. Click ‘Click Here’.

4. Select two security questions and fill out the answers, click ‘Enroll’.

Once complete you should see the following message.

 

Password Change

If you are using a computer:

1. Go to https://reset.neomed.edu and click the ‘Change Password’ tab.

2. Enter your Old Password, then enter your New Password and confirm. If your password meets the requirements listed, each criteria will be marked with a green check and your new password will be underlined in green. Click ‘Change Password’.

 

If you are using the mobile app:

  • Click the Login button on the Home screen
  • Enter your username and password then tap Done
  • Enter your Old Password, the New Password, Confirm Password, then tap Change at the top right.

 

Don't forget to change your password on your mobile devices as well: Change your password on your mobile device

Reset Forgotten Password

If you are using a computer:

1. Go to https://reset.neomed.edu

2. Click ‘Reset Password’.

 

3. Enter your username and click ‘Continue’.

4. Answer your security questions, fill out the CAPTCHA and click ‘Continue’.

5. Enter a new password and confirm it. Fill out the CAPTCHA and click ‘Reset Password’.

 

If you are using the mobile app:

  1. Tap the Password Reset button on the home screen.
  2. Type your username on the User Verification screen, then tap Next.
  3. Answer the security questions, then tap Next.
  4. Enter your new password, then tap Reset.

 

Unlock Account

If you are using a computer:

1. Go to https://reset.neomed.edu

2. Click ‘Unlock Account’.

 

3. Enter your username and click ‘Continue’.

4. Answer your security questions, fill out the CAPTCHA and click ‘Continue’.

5. Enter the CAPTCHA and click ‘Unlock Account’.

 

 

If you are using the mobile app:

  1. Tap the Account Unlock button on the home screen.
  2. Type your username on the User Verification screen, then tap Next.
  3. Answer the security questions, then tap Next.
  4. Enter your new password, then tap Unlock.
